He has denied me sex for 4 years —Wife tells court

I started turning her down when
she refused me sex many times
A 38-year-old woman, Adaobi
Chuma, has dragged her 48-year-
old husband, Ikechi, before a
Badagry Customary Court in Lagos
State, for not satisfying her
sexually.
Adaobi who said she was fed up
with her husband’s excuses
decided to end their nine-year-old
marriage.
“My husband has not had sex with
me for four years. He’s fond of
giving tiredness or sickness as
excuse,” the mother of two told the
court.
Adaobi also accused her husband
of abusive behaviour.
Ikechi while responding denied his
wife’s allegations.
“I satisfed my wife in bed regularly,
but I started turning down her
sexual advances after she had
rejected mine too many times.
“Adaobi was fond of turning me
down each time I wanted sex with
her while she never gave any
reason for this,” he said.
Ikechi, who works at Shagamu in
Ogun State stated that Adaobi was
fond of leaving home every time he
came home to their Ikoga, Badagry
residence and would return after he
went back to work.
Adaobi responding to Ikechi’s
allegation said: “I was pregnant
for him thrice, and he asked me to
abort them because he didn’t want
more children.
“ I therefore refused to have sex
with me again,” she said.
Mr A.B. Kudaisi, who presided over
the case,asked the couple to go
back home and try to reconcile.
He adjourned the case for further
hearing.
