FG appoints Sultan of Sokoto as leader of 2014 Hajj

ABUJA—President Goodluck
Jonathan has approved the
appointment of members of the
Federal Government delegation to
the 2014 Hajj, with Sultan of
Sokoto, Alhaji Sa’ad Abubakar III,
as National Amirul Hajj and
leader.
This was contained in a press
statement issued yesterday by Mr
Sam Nwaobasi, the Special Adviser
on Media to Senator Anyim Pius
Anyim, Secretary to the
Government of the Federation.
The list of the Federal Government
delegation to the 2014 Hajj is as
follows: Alhaji Saad Abubakar
(leader)
Senator Bello Tukur, Hon. Ismaila
Gadaka and Justice Tajudeen
Ariwoola.
Others include Dr. Nurudeen
Mohammed, Minister of State II,
Foreign Affairs, Emir of Suleja,
Mallam Auwal Ibrahim and Oba
Aderemi Adedapo.
